The cost of traditional, litigation-based family law representation has become astronomical. Although we offer this service, many cannot afford to work with an attorney and end up going into family law court hearings uneducated and unprepared for the complexities of the Oregon family law system. Our goal is to change this growing problem by offering a different model of family law representation: TAILORED REPRESENTATION.
Figuring out how to work with an attorney should be the easiest part of the family law process. In our TAILORED REPRESENTATION model, we offer accessible legal services in a clear and concise way and in a variety of formats. Tailored representation is our model that enables clients to choose which legal services they need from our family law attorney. These legal services can range from full scope representation, which includes drafting, courtroom representation, and everything in between, to limited representation, which can include any combination of services without courtroom representation. The goal is to empower YOU as the client to choose what fits your circumstances and wallet the best.
Here’s how it works:
Yep! It’s that easy. Whether you want your attorney to take the wheel and handle everything for you or you just need to ask a few questions about an issue, we can help. Contact us to meet with Audrey to discuss all that occurs in a family law case and create an action plan to figure out exactly how you are going to go about your family law matter.
Our process is a much more transparent and interactive process between client and attorney. Our attorney, Audrey Stone, will ask questions like “what is your budget for your family law case?” and “how motivated are you and the opposing party to resolve this case without court?” – these are not traditional questions in a family law intake. Her goal is to meet you where you are and match the best range of services to your budget.
The price for each case is unique and variable depending on the facts. Audrey cannot control the reasonableness or level of fight from the opposing party, which can drive up the cost of a family law matter. However, Audrey believes in transparency when it comes to her costs. The service that costs the least amount is Legal Coaching at $300 for 1 hr. Assistance with certain parts of a case may range from $600 to $2700, depending on the task. Full representation can vary from $ 3,000 to $10,000+.
If a client cannot pay out of his or her pocket, most pay using a credit card or borrow funds from friends and family. If the client’s credit is good enough, there may be certain perks that come with opening a credit card. Audrey has heard over and over again that having representation is worth it. Having an advocate in your corner to fight for you and your children is worth asking to borrow money or opening a credit card. If you are having trouble coming up with the funds, please reach out to us, and we can see if we can create a plan that best suits your needs and wallet.
We’re here to help you. Contact us to schedule a consultation or get answers to your questions. Our experienced attorneys provide effective and personalized representation for you. Take the first step towards resolving your legal issues and reach out to us today.
